Extended Information on Using Harbor Freight Frames for DIY Camping Trailer Projects

Back in August we discussed a new thread on Tventuring entitled, “Should I use a Harbor Freight frame for my Home-Built Camping Trailer project?”.  The thread discusses using Harbor Freight’s Haul-Master #94564 1720 lb. capacity super duty 4’ x 8’ frames as a base for DIY Compact Camping Trailers.

In the last few months, members have added some interesting information to the post.

Topics include:

  • Making the deck size smaller
  • Improving the tongue strength
  • Fitting larger tires
