Here is Jeff’s from Nebraska Explorer Box with a MOAB tent unit.
His build got off to a rocky start when a windstorm dropped a large tree branch on his project that was beside his house at the time. He made a nice recovery and has built a good-looking camping trailer. He commented “It was a fun and rewarding project and the VW club loves it. Many at first did not think it was home-made!”
He did a few things differently; first he began with a 4×6 trailer with side rails. Where needed he trimmed the side rails out for door clearance. The other thing he did was build it “backwards” with the galley on the rear from the way I normally do it. These are good examples of how versatile the Explorer Box design is to ‘Having it Your Way’.
