Back in November of last year, Ed and Lorraine arrived from Arizona to pickup a trailer frame we setup for them. It was designed for off-road towing using a Jeep YJ spring and 15” tires.
Their plan was to build it up as a Gear Hauler for trips to Baja. Here are some early shoots of setting up storage for water, fuel and propane.
They stopped by earlier this month to show off their finished trailer while out on it’s six week maiden voyage. On the front Ed built a huge custom cooler. The box is laid out with places for everything. They use totes for some items, there are a number of slides for other items and a few bulk storage areas.
Congratulations Ed, you’ve designed and built a great Gear Hauler.
