With a beautiful sunny day like today, at least here in Salem, gets us thinking about getting out.
As you start to make trip plans for 2012, keep in mind the National Parks free days. These are days that National Parks waive the entrance fees. This is a nice savings with some parks now costing $25 to visit.
Here are the remaining free days for 2012:
April 21 – 29 (National Park Week)
June 9 (Get Outdoors Day)
September 29 (National Public Lands Day)
Nov. 10 – 12 (Veterans Day weekend)

Happy Camping!

  1. Thanks for the heads up! We just paid $25 to get in the Grand Canyon park for an hour. The lowest charge is $25 for weekly camping, but it was worth it to finally see how cool it really is.
